Frequently Asked Questions
How much do private Turkish universities cost?
Annual tuition at private universities in Istanbul typically starts around USD 2,500 for arts and business programs, USD 4,500 for engineering and computer science, and ranges from USD 18,000 to 25,000 for Medicine. Through our direct partnerships with 20+ universities, we secure discounts of up to 70% on these published fees for our students. Most universities include lab access, library, and standard student services in the tuition, with only nominal annual registration fees added.
Are Turkish degrees recognized in the GCC and Arab world?
Yes. Every private university we work with is accredited by YÖK (Turkey's Council of Higher Education), and its diplomas are officially recognized in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, and Libya. Many engineering and medical programs also hold international accreditations like ABET, EUR-ACE, and WFME, easing professional licensing abroad. We prepare every graduate's diploma-equivalency documents.
Do I need to pass the YÖS or SAT exam to be admitted?
For private universities we represent, neither YÖS nor SAT is required for most programs. Admission is based on your high-school certificate, usually with a minimum average of 50% for general programs, 70% for engineering, and 90% or higher for Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. If your average is below the threshold, we suggest foundation programs or adjacent fields. Only state universities require YÖS.
How long does the student residency (İkamet) take?
After you receive your university acceptance letter and open a file with our office, it typically takes 2 to 6 weeks to complete the full student residency process. This includes health insurance, address registration (Numarataj), booking a Migration Directorate appointment, file preparation, attending the appointment, and receiving the card by mail. We handle every step on your behalf — you only need to be physically present on your fingerprint appointment day.
Can I study in English or Arabic at Turkish universities?
Yes. Most private universities we partner with offer fully English-medium programs, and some offer Arabic-medium options in fields like Sharia, Business, and Media. Turkish-medium study is also available, usually with a free preparatory year. If your English is below B2, universities provide a Prep Year before starting the academic program. We will guide you to the option best matching your language level and goals.
